Hey Help Update #3 | 21st May 2025

By 21 May 2025No Comments

🚀 What’s New in This Update

We’re wrapping up the onboarding and account setup flow, and testing a new feature: letting users select their preferred AI provider during setup.

This means you’ll be able to choose from OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), or Mistral, so your Gmail assistant runs on the AI that suits you best.

☑️ Why this matters:

  1. User choice: Some industries have strong preferences for privacy, tone, or compliance. This gives you control.
  2. Cost flexibility: Lighter models can make Hey Help more affordable for high-volume users.

⚠️ What we’re keeping an eye on:

  1. Added complexity: Adds a step to onboarding. We’re streamlining it as much as possible.
  2. Behavior differences: Each AI model responds a bit differently, which may affect tone or consistency.
