Hey Help Update #12 | 30th September 2025

By 30 September 2025No Comments

Quick update on what we’ve been building (and where we’re headed).

🚀 Launch recap
Earlier this month we went live — and it’s been an exciting start:

  • Top #5 on Product Hunt with 300+ upvotes
  • Featured in The Neuron, The Deep View, and other leading newsletters
  • Welcomed 5,000+ new users (and counting)

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us 🙏

We’ve been super busy working on improvements, new features, new pricing and lots more. Quick round up below.

📢 What’s live: AI drafts improvements and fixes

  • Better formatting for bullet and numbered lists
  • Stopped generating drafts to bouncebacks, no-reply, or automated emails
  • Fixed duplicate signatures and salutations
  • Fixed missing recipients in drafts in some scenarios

👉 Coming soon: More draft improvements + custom tags

  • Attach original message in reply drafts
  • Manually trigger AI drafts
  • Rate limiting (get more done with fewer API calls, and less API key errors)
  • Custom tags (major milestone): create your own AI tags and rules.

👋 Onboarding improvements

We’ve redesigned the dashboard homepage to make setup smoother, especially around Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). Early feedback shows it’s already helping new users get started faster.

📈 Post-live pricing is live

We’ve officially transitioned to a subscription model. The lifetime deal is now closed — thank you to the hundreds who jumped in early and unlocked unlimited value forever.

🤔 What is Hey Help again?

Hey Help is an AI Assistant for Gmail that takes care of the inbox admin stuff: sorting emails, drafting replies, clearing clutter, chasing replies, and so on.
